Emergency Management Coordinator
Mark Jones has been appointed by the Governor of Pennsylvania to serve as the Emergency Management Coordinator for White Oak Borough. Mark has over 30 years of experience in public safety and has responded to numerous disasters both locally and nationally. Mark holds basic, advanced, and professional certifications from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. He is also a certified Paramedic, and holds additional certifications in EMS, search and rescue, incident command, and project management.
Paul Falavolito
Deputy Coordinator
Paul has served in numerous leadership roles in public safety over his career. As an emergency manager, he has responded to a range of disasters including 9/11, Hurricane Irene, the February 2010 North American Blizzard ("Snowmageddon"), and multiple local floods. He has worked with all levels of government and maintains a strong commitment to serving the public. Paul holds Basic and Advanced certifications from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. He is also a certified Paramedic, holds additional certifications in search and rescue and EMS, and is an award-winning photographer.
Josh M. Gelman
Deputy Coordinator
Josh has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of emergency services. He has a diverse background that includes education and experience in emergency management, meteorology, information systems, and public administration. He has earned the Certified Emergency Manager credential from the International Association of Emergency Managers, and also holds additional certifications in emergency management, EMS, and information technology.
